Winners of AngelHack’s Challenge for this year will not only win 500 USD, but also receive an invite to the world’s largest pre-accelerator, HACKcelerator.

MANILA, PHILIPPINESGoing beyond a co-working, multi-awarded creative hub, ASPACE Philippines is hosting AngelHack Global Series 2019 (#AH2019) for the fifth year to create more opportunities for aspiring innovators, entrepreneurs, designers, developers and game changers in Manila.

The last stop in Southeast Asia, AngelHack on-site Hackathons are an effort to connect communities and continue to cultivate impact on a global scale, one city at a time.

“AngelHack Manila, as an annual developer and hackathon event, has been held for Filipinos and Philippines-based developers since 2013,” said Paul Pajo, AngelHack’s Ambassador for the Philippines since 2013 and SMART Developer’s Network (SmartDevNet) Senior Evangelist.

Starting developers can hone their skills, veteran developers can build new relationships with budding members of the community, designers of all skill-sets can experiment, and entrepreneurs can add value to their teams and potentially work with new talent. Guided by inclusivity, AngelHack offers on-site mentorships from local experts and pitching workshops to level the field.

Inspiring creators to innovate without boundaries and affect change in the world, winners of AngelHack’s Challenge for this year will not only win 500 USD, but also receive an invite to the world’s largest pre-accelerator, HACKcelerator.

During the 12-week program, the chosen team can turn their hacks into market ready products guided by some of the industry’s leading mentors from all over the world.

The top performing teams will have the opportunity to participate at AngelHack’s Global Demo Day.

Participating teams can also take on the challenges brought by global sponsors, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and IBM.

“Looking forward for teams to try to win the grand prize and get a chance to be able to pitch to AngelGack’s network of investors and turn their winning weekend hackathon project into a full-pledged and funded startup and wave the banner of Pinoy Pride proudly the global innovation stage.” added Pajo.

For over six years, AngelHack has been a leader in the innovation space; introducing hackathons, virtual competitions, accelerator programs, Meetups and various developer-focused initiatives to over 100 cities around the globe.

For eight years, ASPACE is a multi-award winning creative hub that redefines and humanizes co-working spaces. By amplifying communities and creating opportunities, innovators can focus and rock the world with their ideas, energy, and commitment to innovation.

ASPACE continues to support AngelHack’s mission of saving our planet, one impactful idea at a time.
