The iconic and long-running beat ‘em up franchise is back with a bang!
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will be coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime this mid-2023. Developed by indie game studio Secret Base and published by Modus Games, this new addition to the franchise will be the latest since the release of Double Dragon IV in 2017 by Arc System Works.
Rise of the Dragon brings back the familiar brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, as they traverse a wrecked New York City in the 90s. With criminal gangs running rampant around the war-torn city, players will find themselves in difficult missions and exciting brawls.

Beat ‘Em Up With Rougelite Elements
Experience endless playthrough possibilities with a dynamic mission selection function; the order in which you choose your mission will affect mission length, the number of enemies, and the overall difficulty. There are randomized purchasable upgrades for characters at the end of each mission.
13 Unique Playable Characters
Begin with Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Uncle Martin. Each token along the way unlocks nine more playable characters, each with its own playstyle and strengths.
Share Your Experience And Rewards
Adjust the game difficulty to affect the number of tokens earned. Use the tokens to unlock content from the Token Shop, including characters, tips, and more. A modifier can be used to enter permadeath or even infinite mode.
Local Co-Op
Grab a friend and clean up the city streets in local co-op that supports two players.
